Cold Lake RCMP have confirmed that a local man was located having drowned.
Search and Rescue teams from Cold Lake, Cold Lake First Nations, and Bonnyville were looking for a man who was boating in the area of the Treaty Grounds in English Bay during the long weekend. The search lasted throughout Monday and may have started as early as Sunday evening.
The male was located on Tuesday evening deceased.
Cold Lake RCMP said they didn’t have much more information at this time.
