Film shoot in St. Paul area requires local workers

The Lakeland area will be the backdrop for a feature film production in the coming weeks and the filmmakers, along with the STEP Economic Development Alliance, are looking for eager participants to help behind the scenes.

From August 15 to September 19, the indie film Kemooch will be shot in St. Paul and Elk Point and there are opportunities for full-time and part-time work on the production. 

No previous film industry experience is required for the positions, which includes, craft services, day and night security, shuttle driver, production assistant, stills photographer, hair and makeup, wardrobe, and art assistants, generator operator, and COVID supervisor.

“Kemooch” will be committed to prioritizing the hiring of individuals from the following underrepresented communities groups for all available positions: Indigenous, Black, racialized/People of Colour, 2SLGBTQIA+ and women.
