The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority is on scene across the Lakeland on Tuesday responding to multiple fires.
Just after 1:00pm, Station 5 Bonnyville responded to a structure fire in the 5100 block of 52 Avenue. Crews from Station 3 Glendon were called in to help roughly 20 minutes later.
In a statement, Fire Chief Dan Heney said crews are fighting the fire defensively at this time.
Then, Station 7 Fort Kent and Station 8 Ardmore responded at 1:20pm to a structure fire near Highway 28 and Range Road 433. A crew from Station 3 Glendon responded to assist as well.
Residents are asked to avoid both areas and ensure to move aside for emergency vehicles.
