Cold Lake Aeros Coach/GM resigns

The Cold Lake Aeros are on the search for a new head coach and general manager.

Coach/GM Corey Bricknell resigned from the Tier-2 Junior A team, the club announced last week on social media. His final day is June 15.

“He found success in our program in a very short period of time and made the Aeros a team to be proud of. We wish him well in his future endeavours,” said president Axel Axmann in a statement.

The Aeros won the first Champions Cup held at the Energy Center back in early April — the first CAJHL title ever handed out after the league was created midway through last season.

The team said assistant coach Harrison Fallow will take over those roles in the interim.
