Bonnyville RCMP investigate vandalism-spree over weekend

Police are investigating a string of graffiti and vandalism incidents that happened early Saturday morning in Bonnyville that saw government buildings and businesses hit.

In a statement to Lakeland Connect, police said: “Bonnyville RCMP are investigating several incidents of graffiti that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday morning and continue to collect and review video footage from various businesses in town.”

Police are asking any business that was targeted to call the detachment and report the incident, and for any business, targeted or not, that may have video surveillance of the suspect or suspects to also contact the detachment.

It is unclear how many businesses or buildings were targeted at this time.

The Town Hall in Bonnyville was one of the buildings, and BCHS may have been targeted as well.
