NLPS announces Indigenous Artwork Contest

Northern Lights Public Schools is looking for incredible Indigenous-themed artwork created by NLPS students in their 2022 Indigenous Artwork Contest.

The winner will receive a $50 gift card, a professional print of their artwork, some fun NLPS swag. Their art will be displayed in the Division Offices and used as special and unique thank you gifts.

The Indigenous Artwork Contest is open to all NLPS students.

Artwork can be done in any medium (digital, traditional, etc.). Submissions can be sent either by email to [email protected] or by mail or in person to our Bonnyville Division Office.

Submissions are due by June 7.

Menzies is the editor-at-large for Connected Media Inc. Born and raised in Vermilion, he started in May 2018 during his NAIT Radio and Television practicum and reports on local politics, sports, and community issues. He became the Bonnyville Pontiacs play-by-play voice during the 2019-20 season. He also comments on provincial and national issues. Menzies hosts Connected! Evening Monday-Thursday at 5 o’clock.
