Glendon man wins $100,000 in Lotto Max
James Katish is 0,000 richer thanks to the EXTRA he added to his LOTTO MAX ticket for the March 4 draw.
Katish likes to buy tickets a couple of times a month, and when he was at the Pharmasave at 207 Railway Avenue in Glendon on March 4 when he decided to purchase a ticket to the draw later that evening.
A few weeks later on March 29 Katish remembered to check the tickets he had been holding onto and when he handed his tickets to the cashier, he wasn’t expecting what would happen next. The cashier’s face lit up with excitement as he told Katish that he was $100,000 richer!
“I really couldn’t believe it. I was in total shock, to be honest,” the winner said as he claimed his prize.
The happy winner doesn’t have any current plans for his windfall.
“It feels good. It’s a big relief,” Katish added.
He won by matching the last six digits of the winning EXTRA number for the March 4 LOTTO MAX draw – 4080276.
