Cold Lake RCMP release sketch to identify robbery suspect

Cold Lake RCMP have more information to help residents identify a robbery suspect stemming from an April incident.

On Apr. 5, between the hours of 12:10 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP received a report of a robbery between the area of 55 Street and 48 Avenue.

While walking on 48 Avenue the victim was stopped by an unknown male demanding money. When the victim declined, he was physically assaulted by the unknown male, police said.

On Monday morning, RCMP released a sketch of the suspect.

They are described as having:

  • Medium complexion
  • Beard with moustache, dark colored
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black coloured toque
  • Wearing very dark sunglasses
  • Wearing a heavy black winter coat

Cold Lake RCMP are seeking assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has video footage to identify the suspect to contact the Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3302.
