Local Businesses Cash In on Town of Vegreville’s C1 Revitalization Program

Blush Blonde Co. Salon & Boutique, Budget Floors and Chin’s Café have all received funding from the Town of Vegreville’s C1 Small Commercial Business Revitalization Program.

The owners of those businesses applied for the funding after making visual improvements and updates to their businesses.

“We’re always thrilled anytime a business opens its doors in our community, but when a business owner decides to double down by upgrading, beautifying, or renovating their location — it’s a testament to their faith in our municipality,” said Tim MacPhee, Mayor, Town of Vegreville. “The C1 Revitalization program is small way to acknowledge a businesses owner’s loyalty to Vegreville as they’re not just re-investing in their business, their re-investing in our community.”

The C1 Small Commercial Business Revitalization Program provides owners of C1 zoned businesses in Vegreville’s Downtown Core an opportunity to apply for an up to 20 percent rebate on upgrades like painting, flooring, light fixtures, and exterior frontage to a maximum rebate of $2,000.
