Best of Alberta Photography Exhibit coming to Cold Lake Energy Centre

The Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) is pleased to announce that the PPOC/Alberta Best of Alberta Photography Exhibition 2021-2022 will be on display April 5th – 30th, 2022. The Exhibition will be featured at the Cold Lake Energy Centre.

The annual Best of Alberta Photography Exhibition showcases the top images from the Professional Photographers of Canada – Alberta (PPOC-AB) Provincial Juried Image Competition (September 2021).

This show features images of the most creative, cutting edge and technically crafted work from our outstanding pool of Alberta based professional photographers. In addition to demonstrating the makers’ ability to produce outstanding images for their clientele, the images included in this exhibition are eligible for inclusion and awards in the prestigious Professional Photographers of Canada National Salon judged on March 11 & 12, 2022.

From architecture and portraiture to conceptual illustration and fine art, you will enjoy the passion, and diverse talents and specialties of PPOC members throughout Alberta.

Kim Berlie MPA, Chair of the Best of Alberta Photography Exhibition Committee, said: “I am honoured to have curated this presentation for the past 3 years and that we have such strong, enthusiastic support from venues throughout the province.  Every community that we have worked with in the past has committed to hosting the show the following year.  Artists and community working together is what makes this work. During the Covid-19 restrictions, like many global cultural events, we have had to learn to be flexible and forgiving … and then just get on with it. PPOC/Alberta is committed to continuing to showcase this inspirational photographic display for many years to come.”
