Town of Bonnyville Council Meetings Reopened to Public

During the Town of Bonnyville’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, March 22, a motion was passed to reopen Council Meetings to the public.

Council made the decision to close Council Chambers to the public during Regular Meetings in September to stop the spread of COVID-19. Only Council and Administration were permitted in Council Chambers during the meetings and delegations were made over Zoom.

“With the province removing COVID-19 protocols, Council made the decision to reopen their meetings,” the Town of Bonnyville stated. “Delegations can, once again, be made in person and members of the public are welcome to watch the meeting from the gallery.”

Meetings will continue to be live streamed and available on the Town of Bonnyville YouTube page.

The next Regular Meeting of Council on April 12 will be opened to the public.
