Pontiacs forward Fairfax commits to NCAA Div III school

The Bonnyville Pontiacs are proud to announce that forward Michael Fairfax (Toms River, New Jersey) has committed to the Middlebury College Panthers for the 2022/23 season. Middlebury is located in Middleburry, Vermont and participate in the NCAA – NESCAC conference.

“I am super excited for the next four years at Middlebury. It’s a great program and an even better school,” said Fairfax.

“I’d like to thank the Pontiacs, my family, and my teammates for helping me along the way.”

Michael Fairfax becomes our 11th NCAA player commitment this season and our 106th player receiving a college opportunity since 2013/14.

“Without question, Michael Fairfax is the perfect example of high, leadership and integrity. Daily, Mike strives to be the very best he can be as a person and player and his commitment to Middlebury is a testament to his work on the ice and in the classroom as well,” said Coach and General Manager Rick Swan.

“Mike is also an outstanding model of what you put into something is what you will get out of it. Few people can match his value as a teammate as Mike makes a positive impact on everyone around him offers.

“Michael Fairfax will be an extremely successful person in life beyond hockey.”

The Bonnyville Pontiacs organization, our community and our fans wish Mike all the very best in academic and hockey endeavours and congratulate him on his well-deserved commitment to Middlebury College.
