Morning accident in Bonnyville send one person to hospital

An accident this morning at an intersection in Bonnyville has sent one person to the hospital.

Dan Heney Regional Fire Chief of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority says, Station 5 Bonnyville responded at 8:30 a.m. this morning to a two-vehicle MVC at the intersection of 46 St and 50 Ave.”

According to the Regional Fire Chief, one driver was transported to the hospital, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

“One vehicle struck the front quarter panel of another vehicle,” Regional Fire Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect.

The roads are very slick with the sharp temperature drop, folks need to be cautious approaching intersections, Regional Fire Chief Heney concluded.
