Alberta’s government is distributing over $1.1 million to provide capital funding for municipalities in the Fort McMurray-Lac La Biche constituency.
This funding will help the constituency build and revitalize local infrastructure and create lasting prosperity through the Canada Community-Building Fund.

- $387,280 has been allocated towards paving 1 kilometre of Township Road 574 in the County of St. Paul No. 19
- $414,000 has been allocated towards chip sealing 3.7 kilometres of road in Athabasca County
- $342,000 has been allocated towards the purchase and implementation of asset management software; rehabilitation of a bridge on Range Road 164; Upgrading 2 kilometres of Range Road 170; and the reconstruction of 2 kilometres of Township Toad 592 in Smoky Lake County

“This week, we sent out a number of news releases regarding the Canada Community-Building (CCB) Fund for several constituencies in Alberta,” Chloe Carr Communications Officer for the United Conservative Caucus said in a email. “Unfortunately we were premature with some of the information that was distributed.”
