Man wanted by Edmonton Police Service known to frequent Saddle Lake

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking information on the whereabouts of 39-year-old Joel Cory Desjarlais, who is wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with conditions of release.

Desjarlais’ conditions relate to a judicial interim release for charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, unlawful confinement and assault with a weapon.

Desjarlais is described as 6’3” tall and approximately 240 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including facial, neck and hand tattoos.

Investigators believe Desjarlais may be in Edmonton or Saddle Lake, and are releasing his photo in an attempt to locate him.

Desjarlais is considered to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is advised to immediately call EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
