The Bonnyville Health Foundation is pleased to announce a new member has joined their team.

Dawn Weber has been hired as the Executive Director for the Foundation to support the work of their Volunteer Board and to serve their mandate of enhancing good healthcare to great healthcare at the Bonnyville Health Centre.

“We are very excited to share that we have hired Dawn Weber,” The Bonnyville Health Foundation stated. “Please join us in welcoming Dawn Weber!”

For over 15 years, Weber has been a leader in the local nonprofit sector.

“You may know her from recent work with the Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre and previously the Lakeland Humane Society but she can also be credited for her past volunteer contributions to Lakeland United Way and Lakeland Pride,” The Bonnyville Health Foundation stated.

Weber resides in the M.D. of Bonnyville with her husband and children.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Bonnyville Health Foundation team and contributing to their ongoing success,” Weber told Lakeland Connect. “I look forward to being a part of the long standing partnerships and also building new relationships with our amazing community.”

When she is not busy with community advocacy, she loves trying out new recipes in the kitchen or taking in the latest music or theatre event.

“Her enthusiasm and eagerness to embark on making a difference at the Bonnyville Health Foundation can be traced back to the unexpected medical care her son required in his early years,” The Bonnyville Health Foundation said. “With the hope of ensuring excellent care for others in similar situations, Dawn looks forward to accomplishing goals for our hospital and local health care community.”
