U15 Pontiacs hosting weekend tournament at C2

The U15 Bonnyville Pontiacs will get to stick around this weekend and host to teams from far and wide in a hockey tournament beginning Saturday.

The Tier III team will see squads from Mannville, Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, Westlock, and Thorsby come down for games that begin at 11:00am at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre.

So far in their season, the team is 2-1-1.

The team is raising money in hopes to add another tournament appearance into their schedule. The U15s are going to a competition in Mayerthorpe this December and hopes to find one toward the end of the season.

The tournament carries over into Sunday as well.

Bonnyville plays Westlock at 11:30am on the RJ Lalonde ice Saturday and against Thorsby on the same ice at 5:15pm. Depending on those results will determine when they play Sunday.
