Downtown snow removal in Lac La Biche starts this evening

Old man Winter has covered the Lakeland Region. Therefore, snow removal of the downtown core of the hamlet of Lac La Biche will start late Wednesday evening.

Lac La Biche County is asking residents to please remove their vehicle from downtown Lac La Biche by 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, and do not park their vehicle in the area after 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday until snow removal is complete.

Lac La Biche County will be completing snow clearing and removal throughout the area, starting with the business and downtown core of the hamlet of Lac La Biche.

The full schedule is as follows.

  • Wednesday: Lac La Biche Business and Downtown Cores from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • Thursday: Plamondon Zone from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Friday: Lac La Biche Zone 3 (south of the rail tracks) from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: Lac La Biche Zone 2 (north of the rail tracks) from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“If you live in these areas, be sure to remove your vehicles from the street to allow crews to safely and efficiently complete snow clearing,” Lac La Biche County told Lakeland Connect. “Thank you for your co-operation and patience as we complete this important work, and drive safely.”
