Yaks forward Tamburro named AJHL Player of the Week

Bonnyville Pontiacs forward Sebastian Tamburro has received a top honour for his work last week.

The new Pontiacs leading scorer was named the Pizza 73 AJHL Player of the Week for his performances in the three games last week against the Drayton Valley Thunder, Blackfalds Bulldogs, and Drumheller Dragons earning seven points.

Tamburro registered two assists vs the Thunder, a goal and an assist vs the Bulldogs, and two game-tying markers vs the Dragons for the Yaks to go 1-1-1 last week.

Through 24 games, Tamburro has 24 points in 2020-21 and is almost at a point-per-game pace since joining Bonnyville at the beginning of last season.

Bonnyville is home for there next three games at the RJ.
