Alberta’s government is investing over 0,000 to support rural infrastructure upgrades in the Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul region.

This money will help the constituency complete various rural infrastructure projects through the Municipality Sustainability Initiative (MSI).

“Our government has made it a priority to help improve infrastructure in rural areas,” MLA for Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul David Hanson said. “These grants will make a positive impact in my constituency, and I am looking forward to the completion of these projects.”

MLA Hanson says $36,770 has been allocated towards purchasing a public works truck for the Town of Elk Point and $138,000 has been allocated towards replacing playground equipment and constructing a dog park in the Town of St. Paul.

The Government of Alberta has also committed to spending $724,371 towards constructing a storm water drainage system in the Village of Glendon
