Several Break and Enters over the last seven days in Bonnyville

There were several break and enters over the last seven days in Bonnyville and the RCMP are looking for information from the public.

Overnight on October 22, unknown culprits broke into two work trucks located at a business in the 6200 block of 50th avenue and stole several tools from within the vehicles. The Break, Enter & Theft is still under investigation.

Sgt. Sarah Parke is the Detachment Commander for the Bonnyville RCMP.

“On October 22, at 9:42 p.m., a suspect broke into a business in the 6200 block of 52 Avenue and stole several items,” Sgt. Parke said. “RCMP is working with the business and its surveillance system to identify the suspect. Anyone who recognizes the coat in the photo is urged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP.”

In the early morning hours of October 26, a business in the 6000 block of 47 Avenue was broken into and two catalytic converters and miscellaneous tools were stolen.

Overnight on October 24, Sgt. Parke says unknown culprit(s) broke into a business in the 6100 block of 47 Avenue and kicked the door in.
“RCMP continue to investigate,” Sgt. Parke said.

On October 28, at 1:45 a.m., the Bonnyville RCMP responded to a break-in in progress at a business in the 4800 block of 62 street.

“Police attended but the suspects had fled and were no longer on scene upon police arrival,” Sgt. Parke said. “Police continue to investigate and are using the use of video surveillance.”

Sometime between October 21 – 26, a rural residential property was broken into. The culprit (s) stole an electric guitar with an amp as well as a 1985 Grey GMC truck with a metal toolbox in the box. A welder was also removed from a welding truck and stolen. The suspects also entered the garage and stole a Husqvarna weed eater.

“Anyone with information on any of these Break & Enters is urged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP or Crime Stoppers,” Sgt. Parke concluded.
