A accident yesterday at the Fort Kent intersection of Highway 28 sent two people to hospital.

Around 3:50 p.m., on October 14, Station 5 Bonnyville, Station 7 Fort Kent and Station 8 Ardmore responded to a two-vehicle MVA at the intersection of Hwy 28 and RR450.

Dan Heney is the Regional Deputy Chief of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority.

“No extrication was required,” Deputy Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect. “Both drivers were transported to hospital.”

Both vehicles involved in the MVA were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
