Man from Fishing Lake charged in connection with shooting at Lloydminster residence

A man from Fishing Lake has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred in Lloydminster recently.

According to the RCMP, As a result of the ongoing investigation into a shooting at a residence in Lloydminster on September 21, the Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section have arrested and charged Shaunita Chief, 20, of Onion Lake, SK; Nicole Larson, 23, of Lloydminster, AB; and Jarell Moyah, 20, of Fishing Lake, AB, with numerous offences, including:

  • Using a firearm in the commission of an offence
  • Careless use of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Assault with a weapon

Shaunita Chief and Jarell Moyah have also been charged with several counts of failing to abide by conditions from a prior release order.

Lloydminster RCMP have issued warrants for the arrest of a fourth individual involved in this incident, Myron Moyah, 18, of Fishing Lake, AB. Moyah is considered armed and dangerous at this time, and should not be approached if located by the public.
