The RCMP recently caught a duo red handed while breaking into a local business

“On September 25, at 3:45 a.m., the Bonnyville RCMP received a report of a Break & Enter in progress at a local business on the 5800 block of 56 Avenue,” Sgt. Sarah Parke from the Bonnyville RCMP told Lakeland Connect. “Members attended the location, located the suspects who were in possession of break in tools and a knife and one was on outstanding warrants.”

Sgt. Parke says both suspects were arrested and brought before a Justice of the Peace who released them. It is unclear what business was targeted by the duo.

A 31-year-old male from St. Paul is charged with Breaking & Entering a Business, Possession of Break-In Instruments and two counts of Failing to comply with a previous release condition.  A 42-year-old female from Bonnyville is charged with Breaking & Entering a Business.

Both accused are set to appear in court on October 19.
