One man from Cold Lake has been arrested and charged with assault after a recent incident in Bonnyville.
According to the Bonnyville RCMP, on September 22 at 5:45 p.m., the Mounties were dispatched to an incident on the 5800 block of 66 Street.
“A number of individuals alerted responding members to a male that had just assaulted two people and fled the scene,” Sgt. Sarah Parke Detachment Commander from the Bonnyville RCMP said. “Members conducted a quick search of the area and located and arrested the suspect.”
The 39-year-old male from Cold Lake was brought before a Justice of the Peace who remanded the male to remain in custody until his first court appearance on September 27.
