Western States Hockey League requires all players to be vaccinated against COVID-19
If you are planning to play in the Western States Hockey League (WSHL) in 2021-2022 you must be fully vaccinated.
To be consistent with the Western States Hockey League’s policy of an, “Abundance of Caution and Safety First,” the WSHL requires all players to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with one of the three major vaccines available in Pfizer-BioNTech., Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson.
“Certain exceptions may apply, however, only as it relates to policy set forth by the US and Canadian governments,” the WSHL stated.
The Cold Lake Aeros are in the WSHL and will need to follow the leagues rules & mandates.
Coaching staff and other members of the teams who are in regular contact with players must also be vaccinated in order to fully comply with the WSHL’s policy of using an “Abundance of Caution and Safety First,” as we work towards a successful return to action, the WSHL added.
“All teams have been informed of such policy, and will be expected to comply,” the WSHL concluded.
