Police in Lac La Biche need your help to solve a shooting which occurred recently in the town.

On Sept. 7, around 5:00 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP received a 911 call regarding a male who sustained non-life threatening injuries from a reportedly discharged firearm, reportedly near 104a Street and 101 Avenue, in Lac La Biche.

There were allegedly two shots fired in the downtown area of Lac La Biche. Police are seeking public assistance for any dash camera, surveillance footage, or potential witnesses who were in the area on Sept. 7, between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., around the blocks of 103 Street to 105 Street, and 100 Avenue to 101 Avenue, in Lac La Biche.

Lac La Biche RCMP investigation is on-going. No arrests have been made. Police do not believe this was a random act.
