At approximately 9:00 a.m., on Aug. 20, the Bonnyville RCMP responded to a report of a fatal collision on Highway 660, just east of Range Road 455.
The 60-year-old driver of Mannville, Alta., the lone occupant of the gravel truck, was declared deceased on scene. The 54-year-old driver of Bonnyville, Alta., the lone driver of the semi-truck, has since been released from hospital.
Emergency crews cleared from the highway on Saturday, Aug. 21. An RCMP Collision Analyst was engaged and is assisting with this investigation. The Bonnyville RCMP investigation is ongoing.
