Serious accident closes Highway 660

Highway 660 just east of 455 will remain closed after a serious accident that occurred this morning.

Debris littered the highway as crews attended to two semi-trucks that lay in the ditch badly damaged.

Sgt. Kim Hillier spoke with Lakeland Connect briefly and says an RCMP collision analyst is attending the scene to investigate.

“Once they arrive we will have a better idea of the length of the closure, however at this time, I can say a minimum of three hours,” Sgt. Hillier told Lakeland Connect.

There has been no word on injuries and Lakeland Connect will bring you more information when available.
