Jeff Cey takes on new role as Vice Principal for Lakeland Catholic Online Learning
There’s something new in the future for École Notre Dame High School (NDHS) Vice Principal Jeff Cey.
This year will be his first serving as both Vice Principal for NDHS and Lakeland Catholic Online Learning (LCOL).
“I look forward to working with students and parents that have determined that the online learning program is best for them,” Cey said. “Lakeland Catholic is committed to offering education that best suits all students’ learning needs, and I am excited to be a part of this new and evolving platform.”
Jeff was born and raised in Wilkie, SK, and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Education. He began teaching Social Studies at NDHS in 1999 and continued to do so for most of his teaching career.
In 2013, Jeff became Vice Principal of NDHS, and currently runs the NDHS and Dr. Bernard Brosseau hockey programs.
Jeff lives in Bonnyville with his wife Delanie and their daughters Sidney and Samantha.
A scripture that stands out for Jeff is Joshua 1:9, “I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
LCOL offers online classes for students in Grades 1-12. Registration is now open for the 2021/22 school year.
