Vegreville RCMP seek public assistance in double fatal motorcycle collision

The RCMP in Vegreville are investigating a double motorcycle fatality and are looking for witnesses to the accident.

According to police, On Aug. 14, around 10:00 p.m., Vegreville RCMP, Vegreville Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services, responded to a report a motorcycle collision on Highway 631 near Range Road 144.

Police say a single motorcycle was located in the ditch. Nearby was a 45-year-old male of Vegreville and a 48-year-old female, of Edmonton, who were both declared deceased on scene.

The Vegreville RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance for any additional information in relation to this incident. The Vegreville RCMP investigation is ongoing. Alberta RCMP Collision Analyst was engaged and is assisting.
