Good news Lakeland, the current fire restriction has been lifted.
The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority has downgraded the fire restriction to a fire advisory for the MD of Bonnyville number 87, Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach, Summer Village of Pelican Narrows and Village of Glendon, effective immediately July 21.
Existing fire permits existing fire permits are reinstated however no new fire permits will be issued for non essential burning. Burn barrels with screens, fire pits, fireworks and safe campfires are permitted.
