A vehicle left Highway 659 at Range Road 450 and ended off the roadway with significant damage.

Sgt. Kim Hillier from the RCMP says, “The driver was a youth.”

“No one was injured and the police were investigating a complaint of a suspicious vehicle,” Sgt. Hillier added.

It is unclear what time the accident occurred.

“A passerby noted it roadside and was concerned so they called police to check on it,” Sgt. Hillier told Lakeland Connect.

Traffic in the area this morning was unaffected while crews removed the badly damaged car from the ditch.

The investigation for the cause of the accident is ongoing.
