A letter of resignation was received from Councillor Clint McCullough in the Town of Vermilion.

McCullough advised that he has moved his family out of the community and resigns his seat on Council effective, June 22, 2021.

George Rogers is the CAO in the Town of Vermilion.

“Please join me in thanking Clint and his family for over 13 years of service as a member of Council,” Rogers said. “Since we are less than four months from the general municipal election, and to be consistent with the Municipal Government Act, a by-election will not be required.”

This Councillor position will remain vacant until after the municipal election.
