St. Paul RCMP seeking public assistance about Friday morning drive-by shooting

The RCMP in St. Paul need your help to solve a drive-by shooting.

This morning, May 21, at 8:30 a.m., St. Paul RCMP received a call that earlier that morning at approximately 5:30 a.m., a residence in the area of 47 avenue and 49 street had been shot at.

The shots hit a vehicle at the residence and left multiple bullet holes. The police say that the home had one bullet hole as a result of this incident. The St. Paul RCMP have completed inquiries in the neighborhood and have been unable to locate any additional video evidence of a suspect vehicle believed to have been involved in the drive-by shooting. No one was physically injured as a result of this incident.

It is unclear if the drive-by shooting was drug related. Or if the house hit was targeted.

The St. Paul RCMP are asking anyone in the area of 47 avenue between 50 street and 49 street on May 21, 2021, between 5:15 a.m. and 5:45 a.m., who may have doorbell/property surveillance footage, or may have been driving and have dash cam footage of any suspicious vehicle believed to have been involved in this incident, to contact the St. Paul RCMP at 780-645-8870, or your local police.

Lakeland Connect will bring your more information when an update from the RCMP is available.
