The Agricultural Services Virtual event is open to the public, and they want your participation.
Some topics to be covered include:
- Agricultural Service Board: who they are and what they do;
- Community Garden program;
- Roadside mowing program;
- Free fence line spraying program;
- No Spray Program;
- New Clubroot Management Agreement;
- Weed Inspection and Notices; and
- Bursaries for students in Natural Resource post-secondary programs.
Jacob Marfo is a Agricultural Fieldman with Lac La Biche County.
“The purpose of the event is to inform the public about programs and services the County’s Agricultural Services department offers to residents,” Marfo told Lakeland Connect. “Some residents do not know which agricultural programs or services are available to them and how to access some provincial agricultural services which are run through the local Municipal Agricultural Service Board. This meeting will address those issues.”
