Most of the Town of St. Paul and the western portion of the County of St. Paul is without power this morning according to the ATCO outages map.

According to the website, the power went out at approximately 2:35 a.m. Repair crews are still assessing the cause of the outage but expect power to be restored by about 3:30 p.m.

The St. Paul region experienced severe winter weather overnight including winds gusting to 55 km/h and snow.

Impacted communities include St. Paul, Ashmont, Lottie Lake, Lafond, Foisy, and Saddle Lake Cree Nation. There are also reports of outages in Elk Point.
