UPDATE: Bonnyville Pontiacs now playing Saturday and Sunday

UPDATE: The Bonnyville Pontiacs will play Saturday in Sherwood Park at 7pm and Sunday evening at 5pm. The games between were postponed to allow for the analysis of a COVID-19 test and ensure the safety of the cohort, the AJHL said late Friday.

This weekend’s Bonnyville Pontiacs games against the Sherwood Park Crusaders have been postponed due to precautionary measures within the AJHL Return to Play Plan.

The AJHL announced on Friday that an update will be provided upon completion and analysis of a COVID-19 test of someone linked to the Sherwood Park cohort.

The Pontiacs were set to play their fifth and sixth games against the Crusaders this weekend in a home and home Friday and Saturday night.

Bonnyville is 3-5 this regular season, but have lost three straight games.
