Starting February 1, 2021 inclusive, the Town will be conducting Water Line Flushing between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Temporary traffic disruptions will occur on roads where the flushing is happening. Please ensure vehicles are not parked near hydrants.
Residents may also notice minor discolouration of tap water during this time.
Please run your taps till water clears if there is extended discolouration.
This flushing is to transition Bonnyville on to Cold Lake Regional Water. Please refer to the provided link if you have questions regarding the new method of water treatment.
NOTE: The Town cautions that as this flushing is happening, icy conditions may develop and as a precautionary measure, additional sanding is being done.
