Vehicle stolen from B&R recovered: RCMP investigate theft from Glendon

Bonnyville RCMP have charged a 19-year-old male from Cold Lake after a stolen vehicle investigation.

Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle on Saturday, January 16 just before 11:00pm where the vehicle was taken from B&R Transport on 50th Avenue in Bonnyville.

RCMP said surveillance footage was unsuccessful in identifying the suspect, but through tips from the public and police patrols, the vehicle was found by Cold Lake RCMP on Highway 897.

A 19-year-old male from Cold Lake is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and possessing break-in instruments.

No information on the file has been sworn yet, so the name of the accused has not been released.

Glendon investigation ongoing

Bonnyville RCMP are still looking for a stolen vehicle out of Glendon from Sunday, January 17.

Within a time delay of ten minutes, RCMP received the report just after 7:00am on Sunday morning.

RCMP said members attended the scene where the complainant said they left their black 2004 Toyota Sienna vehicle running to warm up and then it was gone.

Police said they patrolled the area and have made inquiries with neighbours, but have not been able to find the vehicle.

The license plate of the vehicle is SNU612.
