Tonight’s hockey game between the St. Paul Jr. B Canadiens and the Lac La Biche Clippers has been cancelled according to the website for the Northeastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League.

No reason for the cancellation is given at this point and the date to be rescheduled has yet to be determined.

The Canadiens beat the Clippers 7-2 on home ice on Nov. 15.

The NEAJBHL has been following strict COVID-19 protocols to minimize the possibility of transmission through the teams. Teams have been playing a home and home series then taking a two week break before a home and home against another team.

The Canadiens are currently 3-0 to start their season, while Lac La Biche is 0-1.
