Student at Glen Avon School tests positive for COVID-19

A student from Glen Avon School in St. Paul has tested positive for COVID-19 according to a release from St. Paul Education dated Nov. 3.

According to the release, the division has already contacted the parents and guardians of students in the same cohort and if you have not been contacted, your child is not anticipated to be impacted. While the student’s name can not be released, the release says they are isolating at home.

Alberta Health Services has not yet confirmed the positive test. According to the release, when AHS confirms the positive result, there will be an investigation.
