Over the weekend, a 56-year-old man drove into a ditch west of Plamondon and he was found dead at the scene by Lac La Biche RCMP.
The accident happened on Saturday, October 3 at around 6:17 pm. The driver was on Township Road 680 near Range Road 170, and the ditch he drove into was said to be filled with water.
During the investigation, RCMP discovered the man was from Colinton, Alta., for privacy purposes, RCMP will not be releasing the name of the driver.
The investigation is still ongoing, but RCMP don’t expect there to be any further updates.
