The Two Hills Health Centre is thankful for a ,000 gift from the Two Hills Lions Club.
According to Brittany Budaz, the treasurer for the Two Hills Health Centre Foundation, they work with the management of the health centre to determine what the needs are, and what the foundation can cover that Alberta Health Services will not supply.
Budaz said that pre-COVID, the foundation had been planning to purchase new furniture for bedrooms in the long term care facility.
“The current furniture has been in a lot of the rooms since the facility was built, so it’s very old, worn-out furniture.”
The Lions Club also contributed $500 towards the Two Hills Health Centre Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP), which provides information and resources to attract and retain health care providers to rural Alberta.
