Extra Foods requires visitors wear masks; grocery stores updating policy

Grocery stores around the Lakeland associated with Loblaws won’t require customers to wear masks to shop, with an exception.

Lorraine’s No Frills in Cold Lake and the Wholesale Club in Bonnyville will not be enforcing a masks-on mandate, while Extra Foods in St. Paul will be requiring customers to be wearing a mask come August 29th.

Cold Lake has had a total of six cases of COVID-19, all of which have recovered, and there are no known active cases within the M.D. of Bonnyville at this time.

St. Paul has one active case as of publication, and has reported no deaths from the virus.

Cold Lake’s Wal-Mart has continued to enforce a masks-on mandate.
