County of Vermilion River office reopened

The County of Vermilion River reopened their office yesterday, but are asking residents to continue their alternative measures.

Although in-person access is available, to avoid unnecessary contact, they are asking residents to continue making payments online or by dropping cheques in the mail or at their drop box.

The County is encouraging people to continue doing business by phone (780-846-2244), email (office@county24.com) or fax (780-846-2716) whenever possible.

“We are carefully planning how to best implement protocols that will protect the health and safety of the public and staff and limit the spread of COVID-19,” said Harold Northcott, County of Vermilion River CAO.

Appointments can be made to meet with staff. If you visit the county office, you are required to stop at reception to leave your contact information. Optional masks will be available.

Staff have installed plexiglass and will be continuing additional cleaning/ sanitation practices. They are also reminding people that their is no public washroom access.
