Elderly man crashes into Scotiabank in LLB

An elderly man crashed into the Scotiabank on Main St. in Lac La Biche early Thursday morning, on July 9.

RCMP received two calls at roughly 8:30am and said the driver had lost control of his vehicle because he was experiencing a minor medical emergency.

He was taken to the hospital and there are no injuries to report, however, there is damage to the side of the building.

There was concern from residents about possible criminal activity related to the collision, but the RCMP said that wasn’t the case.
