Bonnyville Municipal Library re-opens with curbside pickup
The Bonnyville Municipal Library has reopened with curbside service only on Monday.
Their hours are 9:00am-5:00pm from Monday-Friday until further notice, as the provide curbside pickup and drop off of library materials.
The staff is working to sanitize all returned library books and materials.
“We are so pleased to be able to continue serving our communities at this unprecedented time. Our staff have continued working to provide online services to our library patrons and have been able to adapt to new and challenging working environments,” the library said in a press release.
There has been no date given so far when the library could fully re-open.
The Library said they are working diligently to adhere to personal protective equipment measures while adjusting their services.
Services that have continued during the pandemic include READ & LISTEN – Overdrive, Hoopla, CloudLibrary, RBdigital, Read Alberta eBooks, Tumblebooks, Novelist, PressReader and Canadian Newsstream.
Also, LEARN–ancestry.com, Consumer Reports, Lynda.com, Pronunciator, Duolingo, Reference Centres, and Solaro and Explora for students.
Other resources are Tumblebooks, Scholastics and Gale abailable on the eResource of the library’s website.
