A sixth case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the Bonnyville area, provincial data shows on Saturday evening.
That’s the second case of the virus confirmed in the Bonnyville area in the past 48 hours.
There remain two COVID-19 cases each in the Cold Lake and Vermilion River County areas.
Provincially, 106 positive cases and two deaths were confirmed by Alberta Health on Saturday.
A total of 1181 cases and 20 deaths have been reported and 196 people have recovered.
Eleven new cases were identified in the North Zone, which extends just north of Edmonton to the provincial border.
- Calgary Zone: 734 cases
- Edmonton Zone: 290 cases
- North Zone: 68 cases
- Central Zone: 66 cases
- South Zone: 18 cases
- Unknown: five cases
