Bonnyville Medical Clinic stopping evening walk-in, changing hours

Published On: March 19, 2020By

There will be no evening walk-in until further notice, the Bonnyville Medical Clinic said on Thursday.

Regular daytime walk-in appointments can now be booked over the phone for the same day to promote social distancing in their waiting room.

Clinic doors will not be opened until 8:30am Monday-Friday.

“We are doing our best to answer all telephone calls as they come in,” they said on their Facebook page.

“If you do not get an answer when you call, please leave only one voicemail message and it will be returned as quickly as possible.”

They ask to avoid calling the clinic multiple times as this puts a further burden on our already overwhelmed telephone lines.

Since Monday, all patients who visit the clinic or on the phone have been screened for COVID-19.

If you are having cough, fever, shortness of breath, but are otherwise well, they ask you to self-isolate and not attend the clinic.
